Annabelle Lecy

AnnaBelle Lecy, 75, Moorhead, MN, died on Friday, February 22, 2008, in MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, ND.Annabelle Eid was born on March 31, 1933, in Ada, MN, to Ole and Olga Erickson Eid. She grew up and attended rural school near Gary, MN, and graduated from Gary High School. She married Floyd Lecy on June 6, 1954, in Sundal Lutheran Church, Gary, MN. Annabelle attended and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Moorhead State College in Moorhead. She taught country school at Buxton, ND, for two years and then taught at Lewis and Clark Elementary in Fargo, ND, for thirty-three years. She and Floyd enjoyed spending time at their home on Pelican Lake. AnnaBelle's family would like to extend their appreciation for the exceptional tender, loving care provided to her at MeritCare Hospital.AnnaBelle is survived by her husband, Floyd, Moorhead; one son, Tom Mary Jo, Eden Prairie, MN; one daughter, Debra Dave Nelson, Folsom, CA; four grandchildren, Alexandria and Elizabeth Lecy, and Joshua and Jonathan Nelson; two brothers, Arvid Ann Eid, Shreveport, LA, and Wallace Eid, Mahnomen, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents.
