Antoinette Sis Beedy

Antoinette Sis Beedy, 94, Moorhead, MN, died at her home on Saturday, December 14, 2013.
Sis was born on December 21, 1918, at home in rural Moorhead to John and Evelyn Lallier Kelly. She attended rural school at Clearview School and then Park River, ND, graduating from the Campus School at Moorhead State.
Antoinette married Clifford Kit Beedy on September 13, 1941, at Moorhead and they made their home on the farm south of Moorhead where they raised four boys. She and Kit built a new home there in the late 1970’s and he died in May of 1980. She learned to drive that summer.
In the 1990’s she moved her mother in with her and cared for her. She was a very active volunteer at Trinity Lutheran Church in Moorhead throughout her life.
She loved to offer hospitality, putting on the coffee pot for visitors and baking. She also enjoyed gardening. Sis loved her grandkids and her dog.
She is survived by her three sons, Walt Beedy, Mountain Lake, MN, Jerry Sandy Beedy, Moorhead, MN, and Mark Bonnie Beedy, Moorhead, MN; seven grandchildren, Tom, Todd and Tim Beedy, Cassie and Katie Beedy, Shane Raymond and Tessie Schatz; twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her son Dennis, a brother and sister, and her parents.
Visitation: Sunday, December 22, 2013, from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. with a prayer service at 5:00 P.M., in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.
Funeral: Monday, December 23, 2013, at 11:30 A.M., in Trinity Lutheran Church, Moorhead, MN.
Interment: Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Moorhead, MN.
