Carol Mary Ann Olson

Carol Mary Ann Olson, 75, of Hawley, Minnesota, died Friday, September 10, 2004, in her home, Hawley, Minnesota.Carol Erickson was born September 14, 1928 in Hawley, Minnesota to Pat and Mary Krogh Erickson. She grew up and attended school in Hawley. Carol was married to Gordon Olson on December 4, 1954 in Hawley, Minnesota. Following their marriage they farmed east of Hawley. She worked for several years at Wefald & Baer Law Office, and also worked at Wahl Drug Store in Hawley. She was an active member of Solem Lutheran Church and sang in the church choir. She also volunteered at Reach in Hawley. Carol was an avid sewer and did quilting for the church.Carol was preceded in death by 1 son, Duane and daughter-in-law, Janine.She is survived by her husband, Gordon Olson, Hawley, MN; three daughters, Cathy Gary Odenbach, Lincoln, NE, Teresa Olson, Hawley, MN, and Susan Olson, Hawley, MN; one brother, Richard Carol Erickson, Fargo, ND; two sisters, Dorothy Tangen, Hawley, MN, and Betty Donald Jagol, Crookston, MN; five grandchildren.
