Cleon Manston

Cleon Manston, 83, Fargo, ND, died on Monday, June 11, 2013 in Sanford Health Palliative Care, Fargo, ND.
Cleon Manston was born on April 7, 1930, in Moorhead, MN to Bert and Cora Helgeson Manston. He graduated from Barnesville High School and also from Interstate Business College in Fargo.
Cleon enlisted in the Army in 1950 and served in Korea where he was awarded the Purple Heart. He was discharged in 1953 and returned to Fargo.
Cleon married Bonnie Dunning on August 6, 1955 in Fosston, MN and they made their home in Fargo, ND. He worked for several area businesses over the years, including Curtis Construction, GPK Products, and Fargo Tire.
He enjoyed spending his summers at Middle Cormorant Lake in Minnesota, fishing with his grandchildren. He was a member of the VFW Club in Barnesville and the American Legion Club in Fargo. He also was a member of First United Methodist Church in Fargo, ND.
Cleon is survived by his wife of 57 years, Bonnie; children, Thomas Jodie Manston of West Fargo, and Jeffrey Manston of Aneta, ND; grandchildren Brianna Manston, Jenny Reierson and Mitch Reierson; sister Betty Robert Guidry, Clearwater, MN.
Cleon was preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Cora Manston, and his brother, Harry Manston.
