Darlene Lundstrom

Darlene S. Lundstrom, 67, Lake Park, MN, died on Wednesday, January 4, 2012, in her home in Lake Park.Darlene was born on July 30, 1944, in Rothsay, MN, to Elmer and Margaret Berg Lerbakken. She grew up and attended school in Rothsay and Breckenridge, MN. She worked at the Stratford Hotel in Breckenridge for a brief time and then moved to Dilworth, MN, where she worked as a babysitter. Darlene married Harvey Lundstrom on November 7, 1965, in Moorhead, and they made their home in Lake Park. She had worked at the Lake Park Café, and Swift's in Detroit Lakes, MN, and took care of many children in the community. Darlene was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved her God and her family. She enjoyed crafts and baking with the grandkids. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.Darlene is survived by her husband, Harvey; son Darrell Tammy, Audubon, MN; two grandchildren, Amy and David; sisters Ethey Joe Doze, Marble Falls, TX, Anita Duane Heley, Byron, MN, Candela Lerbakken, Stanton, WA, Tami Marty Gadow, Fergus Falls, MN; brother Michael Lerbakken, Everett, WA.She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, four sisters and a grandchild.
