Dean Allen Anderson

Dean Allen Anderson, 58, of Dilworth, MN, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Monday, May 22, 2017. He was born on December 31, 1958, to Cyril and Doris Dean Anderson in Moorhead, MN.

After graduating from high school, Dean went on to become a Mechanic. As a transmission specialist, he worked in many places, such as Dilworth, MN, Phoenix, AZ, Las Vegas, NV, and Fargo, ND. Dean was a father and grandfather. He loved his children and grandchildren with a big heart. He was funny, honest, and a hardworking individual.

Dean is survived by his children, Dustin Kendra Braaten, Darrin Anderson, and Tabatha Kevin Thomson; grandchildren, Alizè, and Payton Braaten, and Haylie Powers; mother, Doris Anderson; brothers, Jerry Anderson, Kim Jane Anderson, and Clayton Jennifer Hess; sisters, Penny Jim Hyers, and Roseanne Shane Ottmar Allen; his cat, midnight; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Cyril Anderson; brothers, Boyd, Thomas, Cyril Jr., and Gary Anderson.

A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 10:00AM-11:00AM with a prayer service at 11:00AM at Wright Funeral Home in Moorhead, MN.
