Dianne Isabell

Dianne J. Isabell, 66, passed away June 15, 2015 at her home in Moorhead.

Dianne was born September 16, 1948 in Thief River Falls, MN to Arthur and Manda Skeim Nelson. She lived in Greenbush, MN and later moved to Ulen, MN where she graduated high school in 1966. Dianne later attended Detroit Lakes Area Vocational Technical College where she studied secretarial science. Dianne married John Isabell May 31, 1975 in Ulen, MN. They made their home in Hawley, MN and later moved to Moorhead in 1990. Dianne worked in the health care insurance industry for over 30 years before retiring in 2011. Dianne was a devoted Army wife and mother. She enjoyed reading, cooking, bird watching, playing bingo, taking trips to the casino with friends, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. She was a very strong, kind and giving woman. Her caring nature and love-filled cooking reached many and will be missed by all.

Dianne is survived by her sister, Sharon Harden, Hawley; her son, Tom Isabell, Moorhead; her daughter, Amanda Isabell, Moorhead; grandson Tyler Isabell, Moorhead; granddaughter Timara Flink, Pelican Rapids, MN; step-grandson Curtis Isabell, Fargo, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brothers, Allan Nelson and Kevin Nelson.
