Dorothy Weber

Dorothy M. Weber, 96, of Felton, MN, died Tuesday, November 18, 2014, in Golden Living Center, Moorhead, MN.

Dorothy M. Jarisch was born on June 5, 1918 in Williamsburg, IA to Hans and Hedwig Jarisch. At age 5, she moved to Mayville, ND area with her parents. She grew up and attended school in Blanchard Township. Dorothy married Nicklus Puhalla on March 17, 1937 in Hillsboro, ND. They moved to Felton, MN in 1941. Nicklus died in 1956 and left eight surviving children. On Sept. 13, 1963, Dorothy married John Weber of Borup, MN. John died in 1982.
Dorothy loved traveling, reading and quilting. She enjoyed living on the farm and doing yard work and going for walks. Dorothy also enjoyed playing Bingo.

Dorothy is survived by her two sons, Donald “Butch” Connie Puhalla, Glyndon, MN and Kevin Puhalla Vicki Blom, Glyndon, MN; three daughters, Gayle Bittner, Glyndon, MN, Sharon Arlin Klevgaard, Ulen, MN and Betty Dale Olson, Perham, MN; 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, two sons, Leonard and Darrell Puhalla; daughter, Dorothy Lo Ann Fern; grandson, Eric Fern; and great-grandson, Taylor Bittner.

Memorials may be given to your favorite charity in memory of Dorothy.

Funeral Service: Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Felton, MN.

Visitation: One hour before the service.

Interment: Felton Cemetery, Felton, MN.
