Erna Stacy

Erna Louisa Mann Stacy passed away at Eventide Lutheran Home on Sunday December 7, 2014, at the age of 81. She was born April 17, 1933 to Gottfried and Katherine Pfiefer Mann in Werner, ND. Erna lived on the family farms by Halliday and Golden Valley. She married Richard Bitterman on October 17, 1950. They had 2 children; son, Blaine and daughter Deborah.
Erna was a cook at Moorhead State University and Bethany Homes, became a dining room manager at the Tree Top Restaurant in Moorhead and later banquet server at the Fargo Holiday Inn.
On December 27, 1973, Erna married Clint Stacy in Fargo, ND.
Erna enjoyed painting her ceramics, going to Polkafests, dancing, baking, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Blaine Cheryl; grandchildren, Joshua and Jamie Westbrook; stepchildren, Skip Stacy and MaryBeth Winfry; stepgrandchildren, Daniel and John Winfry; brother Raymond Terry Mann, sister Esther Eddie Bauer and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clint, daughter Debbie, parents, sisters Tina Fritzgerald, Darlene Kimble, Irene Benz, Violet Rehling; brother Leo Mann; brothers-in-law Oscar Rehling, Ivan Benz and sister-in-law Loretta Mann.
