Hank Moilanen

Hank Moilanen, 76, Moorhead, MN, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2014, in his home in Moorhead.
Hank was born on January 8, 1938 in Brainerd, MN, to Alfred and Eleanore Karels Moilanen. He grew up and attended school there, graduating from Brainerd High School and then attending the Brainerd Junior College.
Hank married Sandy Morss on October 28, 1961, in Baxter, MN, where they made their home until moving to Moorhead in 1973.
He had worked for Frito Lay for twenty years, Archway Cookies for fifteen years and Acosta Marketing for eight years. He was a member of the Fargo-Moorhead Grocery Manufacturers Representatives organization.
Hank’s family would like to thank Hospice of the Red River Valley for the care they provided.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy, Moorhead, MN; sons Mark Cindy, Moorhead, MN, Tony, Fulsom, CA, Scott Tamara, Ventura, CA, Dean Deidra, Fargo, ND, Jason Sandi, Denver, CO; brothers Roger Barb, Brainerd, MN, and Doug Sue, Sauk Rapids, MN; eleven grandchildren, Alexa, Kole, Cade, Joshua, Zoie, Mia, Miles, Rowan, Carson, MacKenzie, and Natalie.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial Service: Monday, December 15, 2014, at 1:00 P.M. in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN. Friends may gather for one hour before the service in the funeral home.
Final Resting Place: The Columbarium at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Moorhead, MN.
