Harlow Halvorson

Harlow Halvorson, 78, of Moorhead, Minnesota, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017, surrounded by his family, at Bethany on 42nd in Fargo, ND.

Harlow was born on November 22, 1938 in Severance Township, Minnesota to Harris E. and Emma Evenson Halvorson. He graduated from Gibbon High School in 1957. He served in the Army and was discharged on November 22, 1963. On March 8, 1970 he married Marlene Erickson in Parshall, ND. Harlow spent his life
as a baker, owning his own bakery in Stanley, ND. He continued to work as a baker for Sunmart in Fargo. He enjoyed spending time working in his yard and going to Karaoke. He was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Moorhead, MN.

Harlow is survived by his wife Marlene of 46 years, sons Chad and Corey Halvorson and granddaughter Isabella, brother Daniel Florence Halvorson and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. Harlow was a loving Father, Husband, Grandfather and friend to all. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, David and Stanley and sister-in-law Marge.
