John Feather

John A. Feather, 37, Moorhead, MN, died Friday, July 24, 2015 in Moorhead.

John Andrew Feather was born August 20, 1978 in Minneapolis, MN, to John BirdsBill and Bonita Feather. He grew up and attended school in the Minneapolis area. At the age of 11, his first job was babysitting for his special niece, Sheena Feather. Later, he moved to Denver, CO with his father where he attended school and worked for a car wash. When he was 18, they moved back to Minneapolis. While there, he worked in a collating job for PPL for about 4 years. In 2003, John moved to Moorhead and worked for Don’s Car Wash. He then worked for Command Center in Fargo for 12 years, spending 10 of those years at Cullen Insulation, where he was employed at the time of his death.

Throughout his life, John loved to work. When he was younger, John loved to ride and build bikes. He always enjoyed spending time with kids, even though he didn’t have any of his own. John loved hanging out with his friends, and he was always joking and teasing, trying to make someone’s day. He always had a way of lifting someone’s spirit up, even if he was feeling down. He will be greatly missed.

John is survived by his father, John BirdsBill Pearle Mousseaux, his brother Mervel Littlewind Cindy, sister Denise Feather Mark, sister Jona Feather, brother Kelsey Feather Celesta, brother David BirdsBill Lynette, brother Bernard Johnson Jr. and sister Bonnie BirdsBill; his nephews, Vincent, Matt, Kelsey, David, Stacey, and August; his nieces, Sheena, Bonita, Nita, Ashley, Andia, and Alencia.

He was preceded in death by his mother, paternal grandparents Josephine and Curley BirdsBill, maternal grandparents Angeline and Andrew Feather, an infant brother, Irvin Kenneth Adams, his niece, Alanis Feather, and his significant other, Summer Taylor.
