Kevin Michael John

Kevin Michael John of Moorhead, MN, passed into the Spirit World on Monday, June 27, 2011, after a long fight with cancer. He is a member of Spirit Lake Nation and his Indian name is Wechapi Duta Red Star.Kevin was born on January 4, 1985, in Fargo, ND, to Mary T. John. He touched many lives in the short time he was here and was a precious gift from Heaven. He never forgot a friendly smile and those close to him.Kevin went to school at Robert Asp and Moorhead Senior High in Moorhead, MN. He was employed at Heartland Industries before his illness.Kevin is survived by his mother, Mary John; half siblings, Richard, Michelle and Brenda; aunts, Beth Fox, Beatrice Salverson and Pam Gokey; uncle, Gerald Graffis; cousins, Cletis, Waylon, Junior, Greg, Garrett and Amber and their children and several nieces and nephews, all of whom Kevin will see again.
