Lucille Engbloom Sessing

Lucille Engbloom Sessing, 99, was born October 7,1911, in Emmons County, North Dakota to John and Clara Otterson. The family farmed near Hazelton, North Dakota until they moved to McCloud, ND. Lucille married Carl Engbloom in 1937 and they resided in Moorhead, Minnesota. Lucille and Carl had three children, Boyd, Neal and Jean. Carl died in February 1954 of injuries sustained in a construction accident. Lucille was employed at Concordia College in the Food Service Department. In 1976 Lucille married Invald Sessing and resided in Bemidji, MN for several years before retuning to Moorhead. Ingvald died in 1999. Lucille has been a resident at Eventide Lutheran Home since 1999. She was an active member of Bethesda Lutheran Church. She enjoyed her birthday club, sewing club and many associations at Bethesda. Lucille is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Lawrence, Alfred and Allen Otterson, one sister, Helen Loberg, her husband Carl Engbloom and husband Ingvald Sessing. She is survived by her sons Boyd Engbloom Marla, of LaCrosse, WI, Neal Engbloom Lana Detroit Lakes and Green Valley, AZ, her daughter Jean Thompson Fred of Portland, OR, two step sons Richard Susan and John Joy Sessing, six grandchildren, four step grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
