Marian Hillrud

Marian Hillrud, 82, Moorhead, MN, died on Wednesday, October 10, 2012, in Sanford Health Palliative Care, Fargo, ND.Marian was born October 26, 1929 in Fargo, ND, to Willard and Matilda Opsal Holt. She grew up and graduated from high school in Barnesville and then attended Interstate Business College. She worked for the phone company and the Moorhead Public School System. Marian married Jack Hillrud on November 12, 1948 in Barnesville, MN. In 2001 she made Mesa, AZ her permanent home. Marian is survived by one son, Dave Joy, Moorhead; four daughters, Diane Bob Beaton, Audubon, MN, January Jim Endersbe, Sabin, MN, Kathy Warren Sidney, Mesa, AZ, Nancy Scott Lomsdal, Moorhead; Eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; and a very special friend Les Cowen. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack, daughter CloAnn and great-grandson Logan.
