Melissa Jo Robertson

Melissa went to be with the Lord on June 2, 2008. Melissa was born April 28, 1975 to Joseph and Christy Erickson Robertson. She graduated from Hawley High School in 1993. Following high school, she attended Fergus Falls Community College and then Moorhead State University, Moorhead. Taking a short break in her studies, she worked in customer service for K-Mart and the call center of US Bank before taking a night job at Wal-Mart, so she could continue her education at Normandale Community College, Bloomington, Minnesota.Melissa shared her God-given voice in music her entire life. She had an infectious laugh and adored her nieces and nephews.Melissa is survived by her father and mother, Joseph & Christy Robertson, Hawley, MN; a sister, Lynette Dan Anderson, Hawley, MN; and brother Matthew Liz Robertson, Hawley, MN; grandparents, Wesley & Carol Erickson, Hawley, MN; seven nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Raymond & Inger Robertson.
