Minnie “Dolly” Jetvig

Dolly was born February 2, 1922 to John and Herminie Sinkler Luthi. Dolly graduated from Hawley High School in 1940 and then attended Interstate Business College in Fargo, ND. She married Oris Jetvig on September 13, 1941. Following their marriage they farmed southeast of Hawley on the Jetvig Farm until their retirement. They spent their winters in Fort Meyers, Florida and summers at Cormorant Lake, where she loved to sit down by the water. Dolly enjoyed sewing and quilting.
Dolly was an active member of Hegland and Hawley Lutheran Church, where she loved teaching Sunday school.
Dolly was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, ten sisters, her son, Steven, and great-grandson, Bryce.
She is survived by her husband, Oris Jetvig ; sons, Eugene Ann Jetvig and Loren Pixie Jetvig; ten grandchildren, Laurie Tim Wollenzien of Moorhead, MN, Scott Kristy Jetvig of Hawley, MN, Chad Cami Jetvig of Fargo, ND, Lisa Doug Keller of Lenior City, TN, Tessa Micah Tysver of Lake Park, MN, Trista Brandon Chapman of Moorhead, MN, Danielle Isaac Renner of Lake Park, MN, Michelle Jon Jetvig of Fargo, ND, Angie Dustin Hasbrouck of Moorhead, MN, and Michael Jetvig of Fargo, ND; fifteen great-grandchildren, Margret and Hannah Wollenzien, Candace Kevin Perry, Emily and Ashley Jetvig, Madison, Makenna and Elle Jetvig, Ashley, Sarah and Oliver Keller, Mason, Aubrey and Deakon Tysver, Presley Chapman; and many nieces and nephews.
