Norma Hansen

Norma E Hansen died January 26, 2016 at the age of 90. She was born Norma E Lillo in Larimore, ND on September 7, 1925, the first day of her father’s tenure as Superintendent of the Larimore schools. She attended Jamestown College and graduated from Concordia College in 1947. She later obtained a Masters Degree in Speech and Communication from NDSU.
Norma married Donald R Hansen, a WW II marine pilot, in 1948. Following Mr. Hansen’s graduation from UND Law School in 1949 the couple made their home in Fargo. They raised two children, Bill and Carol. Mrs. Hansen was a member of several community organizations in her role as wife and mother. Those organizations included the Fine Arts Drama Club, Olivet Lutheran Church, and PEO.
Norma Hansen is survived by her son, Bill Hansen of Fargo, her daughter Carol Hansen Posegate Dr Robert Posegate of Springfield, IL, three grandchildren, Kristina, Erik and Lisa, and three great grandchildren, Conor, Mackenzie and Sean.
A service in celebration of Norma Hansen’s life will be held on January 30, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Olivet Lutheran Church in Fargo.
