Patricia Hovde

Patricia Hovde, 67, of Fargo, ND, died June 24, 2013, in her home in Fargo, ND.

Patricia “Patty” Sue Anderson Hovde was born on St. Patrick’s Day in Fargo. She attended Washington Elementary, Ben Franklin Jr. High, graduated from Fargo Central in 1964, and went on to business school. She married Bob Hovde and together they had two sons, Cody and Brett. Patty was a cancer survivor conquering ovarian cancer some 30 years ago. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, reading and her pets. She loved dogs, cats and horses, and sheltered many over the years. The last few years were a challenge for Patty due to pain and difficulty in walking. Through the grace of God, her soul is now free to experience the peace and tranquility only heaven can provide.

Patty is survived by her mother, Dorothy Anderson of Fargo; her son Cody Hovde of Lake Cormorant, MN; her grandson Wyatt Hovde and granddaughter Halle Hovde of Bismarck; and her sister and brother-in-law Audrey and Pete Otte of Bismarck. She will also be missed by her special friend and caregiver Joe Baglietto “Wop”, her many nieces, nephews and her friends.

Preceding her in death are her father Desmo Anderson and her son Brett Hovde.

Memorial Service: Monday, July 1, 2013, at 1:30 p.m. in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.

Memorial Gathering: One hour prior to service.

Interment: Fairview Cemetery, Bismarck, ND.
