Penny Westlund

Penny Westlund, 71, Lake Park, MN, died Wednesday, March 11, 2015 in her home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.

Penny Lynne Flack was born August 3, 1943 to James and Evelyn Appel Flack in Fargo, ND and she grew up in Page, ND.

On December 29, 1978 Penny married Duane Westlund. Together they loved traveling and two trips to Alaska in their motor home were highlights of their travels. They enjoyed 27 winters in Arizona as well as a couple of cruises and trips to Graceland. Penny loved shopping and was a perfectionist when it came to her beautiful homes. She will be forever in our hearts.

Penny is survived by her husband, Duane; her children, Pixie Loren Jetvig, Timothy Erickson, and Tamara Marvig, all of Hawley; brothers, Rodney Linda Flack, Foley, AL, Richard Mavis Flack, Hager City, WI, Roger Caroline Oller Flack, Fish Haven, ID; half-brothers Mike Karla Lien, Fargo, Randy Cindy Lien, Fargo; step-children, Byrun Westlund, Lake Park, MN, Roger Kathy Westlund, Chicago, IL, Roberta Olson, West Fargo, ND, Darwin Vicki Westlund, Pasco, WA and Rebecca Dan Schoonhoven, West Fargo, ND and their families, and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
