Percival “Percy” Jellison

Percival Percy Jellison, 82, of Moorhead, died on September 7, 2004 at Meritcare Hospital, Fargo, ND.Percy was born on January 20, 1922 in Dilworth, MN to Peter and Magdalene Jellison. He grew up and attended school in Dilworth graduating from Dilworth High School in 1940. Following school he worked for Northern Pacific Railroad until entering the Navy in 1943 until being discharged in 1946. He married Lucille Abbott on March 25, 1947 in Fargo, ND. They made their home in Dilworth until 1956 when they moved to Moorhead. Percy worked for the railroad for 40 years until his retirement in 1981.He is survived by his wife Lucille; two sons, Rich Teresa Jellison, Thief River Falls, MN, Jon Barb Jellison, Fargo, ND; two daughters, Carol Walt Marz, St. Paul, MN, Gayle Scott Swanstrom, Sioux Falls, SD; one brother, Monroe Bud Jellison, Oklahoma; Seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents and one son Lee Jellison.
