Richard Klaus Lohse, 64, Moorhead, MN, died on Friday, November 29, 2013, in his home in Moorhead.
Richard Otto Klaus Lohse was born on September 28, 1949, in Moorhead, MN, to Delbert and Georgie Eoas Lohse. He grew up and attended school in Barnesville, MN, graduating from Barnesville High School in 1967.
Richard married Lee Erdmann on April 24, 1976, where they made their home before moving to Moorhead.
He worked for Lopez Construction till 2005. His wife, Lee, died in June of 2008. He had been working with his daughter, Nichol, at the south Moorhead Burger King restaurant.
Richard loved fishing with his grandson and walking his dogs. He enjoyed the crossword puzzle in the daily newspaper.
He is survived by his mother, Georgie Lura, Wadena, MN; daughter Nichol Lohse, Moorhead, MN; brother Alonzo Lohse, Minneapolis, MN; sisters Bonnie Lindsey Gustafson, Wadena, MN, and Nola Lohse, Minneapolis, MN; grandson Skyler Kidwell.
He was preceded in death by his father, his wife, and grandson Nicholas.
Memorial Service: Friday, December 6, 2013, at 1:30 P.M., in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN. Friends may gather for one hour before the service in the funeral home.
