Sharol Mae Weaver, 68, of Hawley, MN, died February 8, 2015 in her home in Hawley, MN, under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley, after a three year battle with cancer.
Sharol was born May 4, 1946 to LeRoy and Mae Hansen Weaver. She grew up and attended school in Hawley and Glyndon, MN, graduating from Hawley High School in 1965 after recovering from a serious head injury. She then attended Moorhead State University and graduated with a degree in social work. In 1969 she spent several months on a church mission in northern Alaska. She later worked in several nursing homes and as a health aid for Clay County, retiring in 2010 from Northside Retirement Home in Moorhead, MN.Sharol loved music and singing.
She is survived by her brother, Rick Weaver of Hawley, MN; sister, Pam Brad Hempstead of Clear Lake, MN; and a nephew, Tom Trisha Hempstead of Eagan, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation: Wednesday, February 11, 2015, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service, Wright
Funeral Home, Hawley, MN.
Funeral: Thursday, February 12, 2015, 11:00 a.m., Knollbrook Covenant Church, 3030 Broadway Avenue North,
Fargo, ND.
