Alvina M. Burke

Alvina Marilyn Burke (Kassenborg), age 87, of Kuna Idaho, died Friday October 7, 2022, in her home.

Alvina was born April 6, 1935, in Moorhead, MN. She grew up in Glyndon, Minnesota on her family farm, along with her 3 brothers and 2 sisters. She and her siblings attended to the farm, participated in 4-H, and spent many nights playing cards and listening to the radio. Alvina attended Moorhead High School and was crowned Spud Day Queen in 1951. She later married Robert Burke on December 22, 1956, at Concordia Lutheran Church. Alvina was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She prioritized love of family above all.

Alvina was preceded in death by her husband, Robert and also by her siblings, Edwin, Helen, Dorothy, Allen (Bunny) and Glen. She is survived by her two sons, Michael (Donna) and Matthew (Terri); grandchildren, Anthony, Kara (Andrew Orsini), Ryan  (Hannah), Danielle (Cody Miller); and great grandchildren, Landon, Carter, Madison, Colton, and Brody.

A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday October 22, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Concordia Lutheran Church, Glyndon Minnesota.
