Amanda Marie Palya found peace on June 24, 2026, at her home in Moorhead, MN.

Amanda was born September 29, 1985, in Fargo, ND to Tom and Marita Palya. In her youth the family would move to Phoenix, AZ then Las Vegas, NV before returning to the Glyndon, MN area for good in 2003. She graduated from Dilworth Glyndon Felton High School in 2004. Amanda had a few different jobs in life, but her all time favorite was being a mom. Although she had her struggles with navigating life, she did it her way. She had a smile that would light up a room.

Amanda is survived by two children, Brodey Johnson and Nora Rokeh; parents, Tom and Marita Palya; brother, Tyler (Samantha) Palya; nephews, Tucker and Case; and niece, Olivia. Amanda had many friends and pets in her life that all held a special place in her heart.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Marlys and Lloyd Olson, George Palya and Elaine Koenen.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Maranatha Free Lutheran Church, Glyndon, MN.
