In Loving Memory of Andy Lee Andring
October 6, 1997 – August 24, 2025
Andy Lee Andring, known to many as “Sasquatch,” passed away on August 24, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. He was 27 years old.
Born on October 6, 1997, Andy brought joy and energy into every room he entered. He was the life of the party. Funny, outgoing, and always ready with a joke or a story that would leave everyone laughing. Whether behind the counter at Menards, where he worked as a manager for many years, or behind the wheel of a concrete truck in his later career, Andy’s work ethic and charisma made him a favorite among coworkers and customers alike.
Andy was a devoted husband to Michela Andring and a proud father to their daughter, Marlene. Their love story began like something out of a movie, two people who found in each other, a perfect match of humor, loyalty, and adventure. From late-night gaming sessions to random car rides to look at vehicles they knew they would never get; Andy and Michela built a life full of laughter and shared dreams. He often said that marrying Michela was the best decision he ever made, and his love for her was evident in every glance, every gesture, and every story he told.
A passionate gamer, Andy embraced his nickname “Sasquatch” both online and off. His gamer tag became a symbol of his playful spirit and his knack for bringing people together. Whether he was conquering virtual worlds or hosting iconic parties, Andy made sure everyone felt welcome and included.
Andy is survived by his wife Michela, his daughter Marlene, his parents Eric & Keri Andring, his brother Erin, sister Zoie, Grandparents Dave & Lois Samuelson and a wide circle of family and friends who will miss his warmth, humor, and his unmistakable presence. Though his time with us was far too short, the impact he made will echo for years to come.
A celebration of Andy’s life will be held Wednesday September 3, 2025. Visitation from 2-4 and a celebration of life beginning at 4 where stories will be shared, laughter will be encouraged, and his favorite playlist will be played loud, just the way he liked it. In remembrance of the joy Andy brought to others, those in attendance are encouraged to dress in colorful clothing. After the celebration, please join family and friends at the Three Fingers Pub/Bowling Alley in Hawley for drinks and sharing stories.
