Arden “Ardy” Sundby

Arden (Ardy) Sundby passed away Sunday, January 1, 2023, at his home in One Oak Place in Fargo, with his wife Jo by his side.  Arden farmed and worked several jobs in the Stephen-Argyle area until being employed as an Area Claims Representative for NAU, later RCIS, crop insurance.  Ardy was best known for his sense of humor, gift of gab, and his love of dessert.

Arden is survived by his wife, Jo; 3 sons, Lynn (Pam), Craig (Tammy) and Terry (Patty) and 2 daughters, Becky (Alvin Nybladh) and Dawn Erickson; 2 bonus daughters, Jodi (Clayton Quade) and Vicki (Mark Tucker).  He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren, his sister, Evelyn (Arnold Skjerven) and several nieces and nephews.

Arden is preceded in death by his parents, Olaf and Ollie Sundby; 5 brothers and 2 sisters; his first wife, Shirley; son-in-law Allen Erickson; grandsons Blake and Jordan Sundby and granddaughter Jamie Erickson.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held at Wright Funeral Home in Moorhead, MN on Saturday January 7, 2023, at 2:00 P.M.  Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Moorhead.
