Arne Jacobson

Arne Jacobson, 76, of Lake Park, Minnesota, died Sunday, February 27, 2011, in his home, under the loving care of family and Hospice of the Red River Valley. Arne was born July 10, 1934, in Gary, Minnesota, to Jacob and Sophie Hofstad Jacobson. He loved the peace and quiet of home, deer hunting and most of all his family. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Jacobson, Lake Park, MN; six children, Kathy Dave Stearns of Rochert, MN, Barb Lowell Aakre of Hawley, MN, Margaret Cossette of Alaska, John Jacobson of Lake Park, MN, Mary Jeff Anders of Hawley, MN, and Brenda John Willman of Lindstrom, MN; thirteen grandchildren, Donovan Nicole Stearns, Desiree Scott Rader, Bridget Joe Okeson, Greg Bobbi Aakre, Jake Aakre, Crystal Brandon Knutson, Jean Jacobson, John Jacobson, Jesse Anders, Jared Anders, Jordan Anders, Preston Willman, and Jake Willman; thirteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Sandy Ione Jacobson; one sister, Amanda Nelson; and sister-in-law, Mabel Hasel. He was preceded in death by his parents and fourteen siblings.
