Arne Thomas Moe age 89, of Sartell, Minnesota. Born April 11, 1936, died, January 22, 2026. Survived by children, Steven (Jolene) Moe, Kathryn (Merlin) Schauer and Robert (Kathi Johnson) Moe; stepchild Bradley (Susan) Imsdahl; grandchildren Christine Flavin, Stephan Schauer, Kelly Mitchell, Elizabeth Young and Megan Zumach; great grandchild Nika Young. Arne was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Ruth (Brenna) Moe, Charlotte (Cornelius) Moe (spouse) and Shirley (Wannebo) Moe (spouse) and stepdaughter Crystal (Imsdahl) Mathews.
Born in rural Keene Township of Clay County, Minnesota and graduated High School in Moorhead Minnesota. Arne spent much of his life in healthcare as a registered nurse, nurse anesthetist and hospital administrator. Arne served his country as a Major in the United States Air Force reserve, 47th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron based in Minneapolis. Arne shared his faith as a local lay speaker and worship leader at Talahi and Country Manor nursing homes.
Arne had an outsized love of music, horses, people and a good joke. As life-long foodie, he was especially fond of a good lutefisk dinner.
Arne will be fondly remembered by his family, extended family, friends, and fellow musicians.
There will be two services held to accommodate friends and family. Friday, June 19 2026, at 2:00 PM - Abounding Joy Lutheran Church 6000 County Rd 120 St Cloud, MN 56303 and Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 11:00 AM - Salem Lutheran Church 201 Highway 32 S Hitterdal, Minnesota 56552
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to support Disabled American Veterans in memory of Arne T. Moe, USAFR.
