Arthur I. Hanson

Arthur was born on July 8, 1912 to Nels and Laura Svenkeson Hanson on a farm in Clay County. He grew up and attended school in Riverside Country School. He was baptized, confirmed in his faith and a lifelong member of Concordia Lutheran Church. For many years he served on the church board as the treasurer and as a trustee. Arthur was a lifelong farmer who enjoyed farming, carpentry, fishing and traveling. But most importantly, Arthur enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.He is survived by one brother, Walter Hanson, Glyndon, MN; three nephews, Keith Kathy Hanson, Glyndon, MN, Neil Polly Hanson, Glyndon, MN, Les Hanson, Janesville, WI; three nieces, Cheryl Richard Ostlie, Northwood, ND, Loretta Arvid Nesdahl, Florida, and Faye Roger Wegscheid, Arizona; sister-in-law Regina Hanson, Glyndon, MN; and many great nieces and nephews and friends. Arthur was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Lawrence and Norman Hanson.
