Ava Coreen (Crotts) Robinson, 53, of, Moorhead, MN, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at HIA Heather’s House, Fargo, ND.

Ava was born on March 20, 1972, in Detroit Lakes, MN, to Bernard and Sharon (Anderson) Crotts. She grew up near rural, Osage, MN, and attended and graduated from Frazee High School. She worked briefly as a janitor for Frazee High School before enlisting with the United States Navy. She served her country for nearly 8 years being stationed all around the world such as Australia, Italy, Spain, and lastly in Bethesda Maryland. After serving her country, Ava began working at the Casino in Mahnomen for 4 years before working at the Turkey Hatchery in Detroit Lakes for another 3 years. She then began her career as a Janitor at NDSU for the next 17 years before her health declined.

Ava is survived by her husband, Robert “Rob” Robinson; son, Austin Crotts; father, Bernard Crotts; siblings, Tina Penn, Jesse Crotts, and Jason Crotts; and many other loving relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Sharon.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 11:00 A.M., at Grace Community Church, Osage, MN. Final resting place will be at Fargo National Cemetery at a later date.
