Barry Hanson

Barry was born June 7, 1959, in Moorhead, Minnesota, to Elden and Helen Tatley Hanson. He grew up and attended school in Hawley. He then moved to Nevada where he worked various jobs. Barry married Janet "Samantha" McCleary in New Mexico, and following their marriage, resided in Surprise, Arizona. She died in 2000. He moved to Peoria, Arizona, where he worked as a plumber. In June of 2009, he returned to Hawley, Minnesota, where he helped care for his parents. He is survived by his parents, Elden and Helen Hanson of Hawley, MN; a son, Cory Collins of Tulape, NV; two brothers, Arlan Aziza Hanson of Osceola, WI, and David Randee Hanson of Bismarck, ND; five sisters, Donna Arden Feser of Fargo, ND, Yvonne Keith Olson of Twin Valley, MN, Marla Jim Wegleitner of Sartell, MN, Janet Dave Dickerson of Peoria, AZ, and Rita Gary Green of Glendale, AZ. He was preceded in death by a brother, Myron Hanson.
