Brian D. Wendt

Brian D. Wendt, 56, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Blue Sky, Inc., Moorhead, MN.

Brian Douglas Wendt was born in Pelican Rapids, MN, on May 6, 1962 to Robert and Virginia (Benke) Wendt.  He was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sabin, MN.  He grew up and attended school in Glyndon and later received his G.E.D. from Moorhead Technical College.

Brian Loved to travel and enjoyed reading his bible.  He had spent the last five years at Blue Sky, Inc. receiving wonderful care from the staff and in the last few weeks the addition of Hospice of the Red River Valley was very much appreciated.

Brian is survived by his mother; siblings, Mark (Karen) Wendt, Lisa (Bob) Jenson, Shelley Kroshus, LeAnn (Jeff) Cummings and David (Brenda) Anderson, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Albert and Golda Benke and Ray and Erna Wendt.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 1:00-2:00 PM with a memorial service beginning at 2:00 in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.

Burial will be held at later date in Immanuel Cemetery, Dent, MN.
