Carl M. Fuchs

Carl was born April 9, 1922 to George and Agnes Buth Fuchs in Culbertson, Montana. When he was twelve years old he moved with his family to Sabin, MN. In 1940, they moved to Felton, where Carl farmed with his Dad. Carl married the love of his life, Georgia Hamernik on August 5, 1945, a union of sixty-three years, a testament to their children and families. In 1962, they moved to Lake Park, MN. Carl and Georgia both worked for Swift & Company until their retirement. They enjoyed fishing, playing cards, doing crafts and spending valuable time with family and friends. They moved to Fertile, Minnesota in 2007. Carl is survived by his wife, Georgia Fuchs, Fertile, MN; two sons, Wallace Sandy Fuchs, Horace, ND; Lyle Diane Fuchs, Fertile, MN; three daughters, Virginia David Strem, Fertile, MN, Ione Bob Bloom, Billings, MT, and Nancy Bob Anderson, Willow City, ND; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Marilyn Fuchs, Glyndon, MN; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; four sisters; and a grandson, Brent Bloom. May God bless the memory of Carl Fuchs.
