Carl M. Swanson

Carl was born January 3, 1909 in Clay County, MN to Ole and Thea Svenkeson Swanson. He lived and worked in Clay County and served in the military during WWII, stationed in Victorville, CA. After serving he returned to Moorhead and worked for Harris Brothers and Al Stoltz Farm Supply stores. He retired from Northwest Oil Company in 1976. He is survived by his sister, Luella Ulness of Edmonds, WA; two sisters-in-law, Adell Swanson also of Edmonds, WA, and Ella Swanson of Moorhead, MN; nine nieces and nephews, their families, and a host of caring friends.He was preceded in death by his parents; and four brothers, Gunder, Sam, Sig, and Bud.
