Carla M. Hanesalo

Carla May Hanesalo, 97, of Moorhead, died Wednesday, March 9, 2005, in Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead.Carla was born on May 15, 1907 to John and Hannah Melbye Oss in Hitterdal. She grew up and attended school in Hitterdal. She married Elmer Hanesalo in Moorhead. The majority of her working years were spent as a linotype operator for many print shops including the Fargo Forum for 20 years. Carla resided at Eventide Lutheran Home for the last eight years.She is survived by many nieces and nephews.She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; five sisters, Olga Lomsdal, Florence Schultz, Hazel Oss, Vivienne Lance, Eunice Gilronan; and two brothers, Earl and Vincent Oss.
