Carol J. Lewis

Carol Jean Lewis, 74, of Detroit Lakes, MN, formerly of Dilworth, MN, died Sunday, May 10, 2020, at home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. Carol was born in Fargo, ND, on February 25, 1946, to Richard and Doris (Rae) Lewis. She grew up and attended school in Dilworth, MN, and later moved to Detroit Lakes, MN.

Carol is survived by her sister Joyce H. Sundahl, El Cajon, CA; brother in-law, Leonard Schock, Dilworth, MN; nieces and nephews; Dan Bartness, Foley, AL, Debi Zahalka, Dilworth, MN, David Bartness, Dilworth, MN, Cindy Hawley, El Cajon, CA, Dean Sundahl, El Cajon, CA, Patty Harmon, Chanhassen, MN, Gerald Schock, Richville, MN, Deanna Vos, Dilworth, MN, Michelle Burnside, Lake Park, MN, and James Lewis, Barnesville, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Doris Lewis; brother, Richard Lewis Jr.;

and sisters, Geraldine “Geri” Bartness and Karen Schock.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 1, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead.
