Christine “Honey” Stenerson, 95, of Fargo, ND passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at her home in Touchmark Senior Living, Fargo, ND.

Christine was born on September 7, 1930, in Fergus Falls, MN to Christian and Elsie (Krueger) Larson. She grew up in Fergus Falls and graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1948. She went to Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. While attending Concordia, she met Jim Stenerson. On June 5, 1951, they were married. 

In 1954, Christine and Jim moved to Gonvick, MN, eventually returning to Moorhead in 1960. Together they raised 5 boys. While raising their children, Christine found time to attend classes and received her certification as a Registered Nurse. After retiring from her RN position, Christine worked as the Parish Nurse for Trinity Lutheran Church in Moorhead. 

Over the years, she enjoyed traveling with Jim and spending time with her family.

Christine is survived by her sons, Scott and Chad of Scottsdale, AZ, and David (Lana) of Peoria, IL; grandchildren, Zachary (Ashley) of Green Bay, WI, Nick (Lenaya) of Vadnais Heights, MN, and Garrit and Grant of Peoria, IL; brother, Peter Larson and sister, Jeanie Walwick.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim, parents, sons, Mark and Paul, infant twin daughters, and sister, Beverly Larson Nesting.

Christine's family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Touchmark and HIA Hospice for their wonderful care.

No formal service will be held per Christine’s wishes.
