Colleen Anne Johnson

Colleen Anne (Fabre) Johnson, 82, of Hawley, MN, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023, at Viking Manor, Ulen, MN.

Colleen was born on July 23, 1941, to Claire and Marian (Murphy) Fabre in Detroit Lakes, MN. She grew up in Hawley, MN, where she attended and graduated from Hawley High School. She began working in the Fargo/Moorhead area, first at St. Ansgar and then at Patterson Dental Supplies. She owned her own ceramic shop, making and painting ceramics and holding classes for those who had a passion for ceramics.

Colleen was an avid reader and loved to attend auctions, flea markets, and show off her ceramic creations at local craft shows.

Colleen is survived by many loving friends and relatives. She is preceded in death by her son, Leigh Johnson; dog, Charlie; parents, Claire and Marian; and brother, Bryan Fabre.
