Connee Johnson Fadden, of Rosemount, Minnesota, passed away on August 20, 2026.

She was born March 11, 1947, in Fargo, ND, to Warren and Marilyn Johnson of rural Moorhead, MN.

Connee was married to Jeffrey Fadden of Minneapolis for 35 years. They were married Jun 21, 1991.Together they made their home in Rosemount, MN, where they shared Many rears of companionship, friendship and family.

As a young girl growing up on the farm, Connee developed a love of horses. She often sketched the horses on the farm, revealing an artistic talent that remained with her throughout her life. In time, she discovered that cats and rabbits were considerably more house friendly than horses and enjoyed welcoming them into her home.

That artistic and creative spirit continued into adulthood. In her twenties, Connee moved to St. Paul, Minnesota, and began a long career with the Unisys Corporation. As the company changed ownership over the years, becoming part of Sperry Corporation and later Lockheed Martin, Connee continued her work as a technical publications writer. She eventually retired from Lockheed Martin.

Retirement allowed Connee to devote more time to the activities she enjoyed most. She loved gardening and cooking and was always eager to try a new recipe, especially when friends and family were visiting her and Jeff's home. Connee and Jeff also enjoyed riding bicycles together until they were no longer able to do so.

Through her creativity, love of animals and enjoyment of gardening and cooking, Connee brought warmth and character to the lives around her. Above all, she will be remembered for the life she shared with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Jeffery Fadden; her brothers, Gary (Diane), David, Greg (Renee), and numerous relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Marilyn Johnson, and her sisters, Wilma Oberg (Ernie) and Lori Jensen (Ron).

Connee will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Moorhead, MN.
