Cynthia A. Leach

Cynthia Ann Leach, 54, of Glyndon, MN, passed away at home with family by her side on Wednesday, September 20, 2023. Cynthia was born June 15, 1969, to Armin and Linda (Anderson) Sternberg. She grew up in Fergus Falls, MN, and graduated from Fergus Falls High School. Following high school, Cynthia continued her education and received her degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead. On August 3, 1991, Cynthia married Patrick Leach. Together they lived and worked in Hot Springs, SD, for a time before making their home back in Moorhead. Over the years, she worked in Human Services at the Anne Carlsen Center, Easter Seals and Atonement Preschool in Fargo. Most recently, she enjoyed working with students at Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton High School.

She also enjoyed spending time outdoors and gardening, especially her lilies. She loved taking time to see nature on the trails at Buffalo River State Park in Glyndon and the Paul Bunyan Trail at Baxter, MN. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed.

Cynthia is survived by her husband, Patrick; sons, Ryan (Shayna) Leach, Dylan (Alexis) Leach; parents, Armin and Linda Sternberg; brother, Dan (Emily) Sternberg; and sister, Michele (Joe) Wetland.

The visitation will be Wednesday, September 27, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., followed by the memorial service at 2:00 p.m., at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.
