Dale A. Parr

Dale A. Parr, 71, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND. Dale was born August 17, 1952, in East Grand Forks, MN, to Douglas and Loris (Lindemoen) Parr. He grew up and attended school in East Grand Forks, graduating from East Grand Forks High School in 1970. Following high school, he continued his education at Wadena Technical College, specializing in Plumbing Technology. On September 18, 1971, Dale married Constance Kahl. Over the years, he enjoyed working and took pride in his work. He opened Parr’s Plumbing and Heating and later became V.P. of Home Heating, Plumbing and A/C in Fargo, ND, until retirement. 

He loved spending time outdoors, and hunting and fishing with family and friends. He will be dearly missed. 

Dale is survived by his children, KaDee (Paul) Hippe, Cody (Nichole) Parr, Kari Jo (Gary) Jensen; grandchildren, Tanner Parr, Madison McKinnon, Gunner Parr, Elin Parr, Lake Parr, Trapper Jensen, Hawkin Jensen and Aurora Jensen; siblings, Carolyn (Ronald) Gauthier, Jane (James) McCann, Patricia (Roger) Juve, Dennis (Jackie) Parr, Jennifer (James) Deitz, Nancy (Jerome) Schmit; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Casey Parr; parents, Doug and Loris; daughter-in-law, Brandi Parr; and nephew, Jeremy Deitz.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, June 30, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at First English Lutheran Cemetery, Mentor, MN.
