Daniel Thomas "Danny" Thomson, Jr.

Daniel Thomas “Danny” Thomson, Jr., 60 of Fargo, ND passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Sanford Hospice House, Fargo, ND, surrounded by his loving family, after a 3 year battle with cancer.

Danny was born March 31, 1964, in Moorhead, MN to Dan and Betty (Lamon) Thomson of Hawley. He grew up in Hawley, MN where he went to school and graduated from Hawley High School in 1983.

Danny worked various jobs to include elevator work, Case Concord, and the last 21 years he finished out his career at Meinecke Johnson where he worked various construction jobs in the F/M area. The last several years he helped with remodeling Roger Maris Cancer Center and Sanford Hospital.

Danny enjoyed fishing, being at the lake, spending time with family, and loved being around his grandchildren.

Danny is survived by his loving partner of 21 years, Kathy Fritz; mother, Betty Thomson; son, Tylor (Brooke); daughter, Kyla; his grandchildren Gracyn, Sawyer, Layla and Amelia; sisters, Terri (Brian) Giere, Cindy (Kelly) Amann and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Dan Sr.
