In Loving Memory of Danielle Elaine Berry
December 20th, 2004 – October 12, 2025
With heavy hearts and boundless love, we share the passing of Dani, who left this world on October 12, 2025. Though her time was far too short, her vibrant spirit, creativity, and compassion touched countless lives and will be remembered always.
Born on December 20, 2004 in Fargo, ND, Dani was a bright and imaginative child who filled her days with laughter, curiosity, and wonder. For years, she was rarely seen without a crown — always dressed as a princess, spinning through life with the kind of joy and imagination that made the world around her shimmer. That same sense of magic stayed with her as she grew, evolving into a deep love for art, self-expression, and connection. She found joy and comfort in listening to a wide variety of music and singing along. I am sure many people have memories of her dressing up and belting out some Hannah Montana as a child.
Dani was endlessly creative — an artist who poured her heart into everything she made. She found her truest voice through symbolic expressionism, as demonstrated by the many artful tattoos she wore, where each design became a reflection of her insight, empathy, and emotion. She was intelligent and witty — wise beyond her years — with a clever sense of humor that could catch you off guard in the best way. A meticulous journaler and deep thinker, she poured meaning into every word and sketch, turning her feelings into personal works of art.
Behind her laughter and creativity, she also faced deep and private struggles with mental illness and most recently her physical health. She met those challenges with courage and strength beyond compare, but the burden grew too heavy. Her passing reminds us to hold each other close, to speak openly about mental health, have grace, and to reach out — because help and hope are always within reach.
Dani is forever loved and deeply missed by her mom, Kathy Huss (partner Dan Hamre); her dad, Pat Berry; brothers Skyler (Brittany Benson) and Landon Berry. Grandmothers Paula McKay and Carolyn Berry. Many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends - and all whose lives she touched with her light. She is preceded in death by grandfathers Robert Huss, Douglas McKay and George Berry.
Soar baby girl. You found your peace. Heaven is yours and you will suffer no more. You are loved more than you could ever know. May your heart be light, your spirit free, and your soul at peace.
Dani loved sunsets. Whenever you see the beauty in one, please think of her.
