David R. Ness, 75, of Dilworth, MN, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2026, in Kinder Care Assisted Living, West Fargo, ND. Dave was born July 12, 1951, in Moorhead, MN, to Gene and Myrtle (Lattimore) Ness. He grew up in Moorhead and graduated from Moorhead High School. Following high school, Dave worked in construction and as a painter. On August 11, 1973, he married Debbie Henry. Together they had two sons, Charlie and Paul. Over the years, David enjoyed working for Henry Brother’s Excavating and volunteering with the Dilworth Fire Department until he retired. Dave later married Connie Beyer on July 24, 2020. Together they made their home in Dilworth. He loved spending time outdoors, fishing and hunting. He will be greatly missed.

Dave is survived by his wife, Connie; sons, Charlie (Jessie) Ness and Paul Ness; stepdaughters, Chelsie and Allison Beyer; four grandchildren; and brother, Gary Ness.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Debbie; and his parents, Gene and Myrtle.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 10, from 1:00 - 2:00 PM, followed by the memorial service at 2:00 PM, in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.
