Delwin LeRoy Pullen, Jr., 67, of Glyndon, MN, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Sanford Health Hospital, Fargo, ND.
Delwin was born on March 4, 1954, to Delwin, Sr. and Marjorie (Thompson) Pullen, in Kenmare, ND. Delwin grew up in Kenmare, where he graduated from Kenmare High School. He attended NDSCS, when he met his future wife, Pamela Goetz, and graduated with an associate degree. After graduation, he worked with a traveling custom combine outfit, combining sunflowers with his brothers. Soon after, he began working as a sanitation worker for the city of Dickinson. He was united in marriage to Pamela in 1976 in Dickinson, ND. Delwin and Pamela adopted their son, Christopher, in 1983.
Delwin lived in Minot, Fergus Falls, and Fargo, before settling in Glyndon, MN, in 2004 where he lived the rest of his life. There, he worked as a maintenance worker for Van Raden properties.
Delwin enjoyed yard work and being outdoors during the summers. He was always generous and never hesitated to drop everything he was doing to help a friend in need. Above all, he loved his dogs.
Delwin is survived by his son, Christopher Pullen; mother, Marjorie Thompson; siblings, Dennis (Cindy) Pullen, James (Mary) Pullen, Thomas (Barb) Pullen, Eddie (Shelley) Pullen, and Holly (Dennis) Engeberg; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He is preceded in death by his life partner, Dylan Grunewald; father, Delwin, Sr; and nephew, Michael Engeberg.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022, at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., with a time of sharing beginning at 6:00 P.M.
