Diane Krogen

Diane Krogen, 77, of Lake Park, MN, died on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at home, under care of family and Hospice of the Red River Valley.

Diane was born November 27, 1943, to Nels and Eunice (Iverson) Nelson. She grew up in Hawley, MN, where she graduated from high school. On August 30, 1964, Diane married Harlow Krogen at Hawley Lutheran Church. Together they made their home on Harlow’s family farm and started a family. Diane enjoyed raising the children and taking care of the home. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors and gardening, and was always welcoming to friends and neighbors who stopped by. She will be dearly missed.

Diane is survived by her children, Sandra Koel of Gardiner, MT, Steven Krogen of Hawley, and Susie Krogen of Lake Park; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlow, her parents, and brother, Neil Nelson.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 28, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at Park Lutheran Church, rural Hawley, MN.

Interment will follow at Park Lutheran Church Cemetery.
