Donald A. Brantner Jr, age 70, of Horace, ND, died Wednesday, September, 29, 2010, in Home Sweet Home Elder Care Home in Fargo, ND, under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.Donald Albert Brantner Jr. was born on August 20, 1940, to Donald Sr. and Ella Engesetter Brantner in Fargo, ND. He grew up in the Glyndon-Felton area. After completing school, he attended Dakota Business School. On June 1, 1962, he married Ann Lubke Hedeen. They later were divorced. Donald enjoyed socializing with his friends over a cup of coffee at McDonald's.He is survived by three daughters, Carla Shane Lee of Wheaton, MN, Laura Mahrer of North Bend, WA and Kari Brian Steiner of Aberdeen, SD; two sisters, Lillian Viken of Fargo, ND and Delores Lyle Johnson of Bloomington, MN; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Glenn.
