Edna E. Pierce

Edna Edythe Pierce, 92, Halstad, MN, formerly Moorhead, MN, died on February 5, 2009, in the Halstad Living Center. Edna Edythe Pierce was born on April 1, 1916, in Lostwood, ND. She was the daughter of Walter and Olga Fuller. Edna graduated from Moorhead High School and attended Moorhead State Teacher's College. She married Jerome Pierce in 1943. Edna is survived by her children Ruth Charles Dustrud of Prior Lake, MN, David Lynn Pierce of Elk River, MN, and Bonne David Campbell of Littleton, CO; sister Bettie Withnell; grandchildren Michael Pierce, Sara Jeffrey Stelmach, Bryn Reid, and great-granddaughter, Sophia Stelmach. Memorials may be given to Hospice of the Red River Valley, the Halstad Living Center, or Trinity Lutheran Church, Moorhead.
