Florence C. SmithFlorence C. Smith, 91, Moorhead, MN, died on Saturday, May 26, 2012, in Sanford Health Palliative Care, Fargo, ND. Florence Ohnstad was born on October 9, 1920, at Gardner, ND. As a small child, she moved with her family to Georgetown, MN, where she attended school, and later high school in Moorhead, graduating in 1939.She was employed many years at Fairmont Foods, in Moorhead, and at Firestone Tire Co., in Fargo.She married Edward Smith in Moorhead, MN, on November 24, 1945. He died on June 20, 1980.She is survived by two sons, Stan Nancy Smith, New Brighton, MN, Sherman Smith, Moorhead, MN; one daughter, Sharon Max Bowen, Neenah, WI; grandchildren, Summer Joel Chitwood, Ryan Elisabeth Smith, and Nathan Kalmoe Katie Will; and great-grandson, Vincent Charles Smith.
